The short version (please read)

Wistbound is an AI travel planner, and AI can make mistakes. Itineraries are automatically generated suggestions — they can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date.
Verify everything before you rely on it — hours, prices, reservations, accessibility, transit, and especially safety. Read the reviews we link and check current information yourself.
Your trip decisions are your own. Choosing to visit any place, take any route, eat anywhere, or do any activity is your decision, made at your own discretion and risk — not a decision by Wistbound or by the AI. We suggest options; you decide.
Evaluate safety yourself before you go anywhere. We aim to suggest safe, well-reviewed places and give you review links, but we cannot guarantee any location's current safety or conditions. If something looks or feels unsafe, don't go.
The Service is provided "as is," with no warranties, and our liability is limited as set out below.
By using Wistbound, you accept these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. Agreement and eligibility

By accessing or using the Service, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) and, if under the age of majority where you live, have a parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

2. What Wistbound is

Wistbound generates AI-assisted travel itinerary suggestions based on inputs you provide, and offers optional features such as refining suggestions, swapping stops, emailing itineraries to yourself, and retrieving saved itineraries by email and one-time code. The Service is currently free; we may introduce paid features in the future with notice.

3. AI-generated content — accuracy and "AI can make mistakes"

The Service uses artificial intelligence, and AI can and does make mistakes. Itineraries and all content are automatically generated suggestions and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information — including but not limited to business names, addresses, hours, prices, availability, parking, transit routes, reservation policies, accessibility features, trail and road conditions, tide times, crime or safety conditions, and whether a place still exists or is open.

You must independently verify all material details before relying on them. Nothing in the Service constitutes professional travel, medical, safety, security, legal, financial, or accessibility advice. Dietary, accessibility, and safety-related suggestions are best-effort filters, not guarantees — always confirm directly with venues and authoritative sources, particularly for allergies, accessibility needs, and personal safety.

4. Safety and security — your responsibility to evaluate

We design Wistbound to prioritize safety: we aim to suggest places that are safe and well-reviewed, we avoid recommending locations we understand to be unsafe, and we provide links to reviews so you can research each place. However, we cannot and do not guarantee the safety or security of any place, area, route, or activity. Safety conditions vary by time of day, season, current events, your own circumstances, and factors outside our knowledge, and they can change at any time.

Before visiting any place suggested by the Service, you are responsible for evaluating its safety and security yourself — read the linked reviews, check current local information and official advisories, and use your own judgment. If a place, neighborhood, route, or activity looks or feels unsafe, do not go. You are solely responsible for your personal safety and security and that of anyone traveling with you.

5. Your decisions are your own

The Service presents options and suggestions. Any decision to travel to, enter, or engage with any place, route, venue, activity, food, or experience is solely your own decision, made at your own discretion and risk — it is not a decision, recommendation to act, direction, or endorsement by Wistbound or by the AI, and it creates no duty of care on our part. You are free to accept, modify, or ignore any suggestion. You are responsible for your own conduct, choices, bookings, spending, and outcomes.

6. Assumption of risk

Travel involves inherent risks, including risks to personal safety and property. To the maximum extent permitted by law, you knowingly and voluntarily assume all risks arising from your travel and from any reliance on Service content, and you agree that Wistbound is not responsible for events occurring during or in connection with trips planned in whole or in part with the Service — including theft, robbery, injury, illness, loss, delay, or any harm.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: (a) use the Service unlawfully or to plan unlawful activity; (b) probe, scrape, harvest, reverse engineer, or bulk-extract the Service or its outputs; (c) attempt to access others' saved trips or circumvent codes, rate limits, or security measures; (d) submit content that is infringing, defamatory, or malicious (including prompt-injection attempts); (e) resell or commercially exploit the Service without our written agreement; or (f) interfere with the Service's operation. We may throttle, suspend, or terminate access for violations.

8. Your content and license

You retain any rights in the information you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process it solely to operate and provide the Service as described in the Privacy Policy. Generated itineraries are for your personal, non-commercial use; you may keep, print, and share your own itineraries freely.

9. Third-party services and links

The Service links to and relies on third parties — including map providers, review platforms (such as Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Trustpilot), venues, and the service providers listed in our Privacy Policy. Reviews and ratings are created by third parties and their users; we do not control, verify, or endorse them, and they may be inaccurate, biased, or out of date. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, availability, or terms; your use of them is governed by their own agreements.

10. Our intellectual property

The Service — including the Wistbound name, logo, design, text, and software — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated. Third-party names and marks (venues, transit agencies, map and review providers) belong to their owners; references do not imply endorsement.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, SAFETY, OR UNINTERRUPTED AVAILABILITY. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY PLACE OR ROUTE IS SAFE, OPEN, ACCURATE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOU. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS; IN THAT CASE THIS SECTION APPLIES TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW: (a) WISTBOUND, ITS OWNERS, AND PERSONNEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, GOODWILL, OR TRAVEL COSTS, OR FOR ANY PERSONAL INJURY, DEATH, THEFT, ROBBERY, ASSAULT, PROPERTY LOSS, OR OTHER HARM, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, ANY AI-GENERATED CONTENT OR ERROR, OR YOUR DECISION TO VISIT ANY PLACE OR UNDERTAKE ANY ACTIVITY SUGGESTED BY THE SERVICE, HOWEVER CAUSED AND UNDER ANY THEORY OF LIABILITY, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY; AND (b) OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS (US$100) OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE EXCLUDED BY LAW, INCLUDING (WHERE APPLICABLE) LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILLFUL MISCONDUCT, OR FOR DEATH OR PERSONAL INJURY CAUSED BY OUR NEGLIGENCE WHERE SUCH EXCLUSION IS PROHIBITED. EU/UK CONSUMERS RETAIN ALL MANDATORY STATUTORY RIGHTS.

13. Indemnification

You will indemnify and hold harmless Wistbound, its owners, and personnel from claims, damages, liabilities, and reasonable costs (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use or misuse of the Service, your reliance on its content, your travel and activities, or your violation of these Terms — except to the extent caused by our own breach or by liability that cannot be limited by law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may modify the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date and, for material adverse changes, notified where we hold your email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of [YOUR STATE], USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules; consumers in jurisdictions with mandatory local protections retain them. Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL] and attempt informal resolution for 30 days. Either party may bring qualifying claims in small-claims court. Otherwise, disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in [YOUR STATE], and each party consents to their jurisdiction. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it accrues, where permitted by law. YOU AND WISTBOUND EACH WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

16. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement regarding the Service. If any provision is held unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remainder stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. Sections 3–6 and 11–15 survive termination.
